I graduated from Elkin High School in 1996, then attended Appalachian State University, where I obtained my BS in Ecology & Environmental Biology.  I began teaching in 2003 at Surry Central High School where I taught for 12 years.  In my time there, I achieved National Board Certification and my MA in Educational Leadership / K - 12 Administration from the American College of Education.

 

I am passionate about learning & consider myself a lifelong learner!  I invite students to do the same -- be curious, ask questions, explore, invent -- LEARN!  Never stop learning!
